Hyderabad Dum Biryani operates three South Bay / East Bay locations: Milpitas (55 Dempsey Rd), Fremont (42318 Fremont Blvd), and Mountain View (2105 Old Middlefield Way). The chain’s site describes a traditional 45–60 minute slow-cook from Hyderabad’s royal kitchens, 100% halal, since 2013. A reviewer quoted in local roundups said it was the “first time in the U.S. felt like I was eating an authentic Hyderabadi wali dum biryani.”
Paradise Biryani Pointe (Santa Clara at 2961 El Camino Real, plus Milpitas and Fremont) is the high-volume dum chain. Its menu copy calls itself the “world’s largest selling biryani.” An r/bayarea commenter wrote that the locations “serve pretty authentic food for a fair cost” and that a family pack “feeds a family 1–2 days.” Treat that as a value report, not a lab score.

- Charminar — Sunnyvale and Fremont. The Sunnyvale site highlights “signature Hyderabadi-style biryanis”; the Fremont site flags Vijayawada biryani as a must-try.
